The Cancer Care Foundation is hiring a Development Officer responsible for the Signature Events of the Cancer Care Foundation ie. Polka Dot Trot, Swim for Hope, Golf Fore Hope etc. In this role, we are looking for a candidate who will organize successful, impactful events with great attention to detail.
This position is also responsible for communications and marketing content for the Foundation through management of the charity’s websites and social media channels. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to share the stories of our cancer patients and their families along with the impact our donors make in supporting cancer care each and every day.
Our ideal candidate has proven leadership skills, a strong working knowledge of social media platforms, exceptional planning, organization and communication skills.
Our Work Environment
This is a 13-month maternity replacement contract position working full-time hours per week. We will set you up for success from day one with an engaging onboarding and training program. Flexibility with time is essential as attendance at meetings and events will be required after hours.
