Through your donor funding, the Cancer Care Program is able to participate in the Canadian Cancer Trials Network (CCCTN) which works to increase access to academic clinical trials – with the goal of improving outcomes for cancer patients.

Unlike pharmaceutical clinical trials, academic clinical trials are underfunded, yet often lead to improvements in treating patients.  The focus of their research is on shifting practice to improve overall outcomes for cancer patients, and promoting the use of best practices and collaborations between regions.

Donors to the Foundation have provided a total of $79,000 over a two year period to participate in this important endeavour.

Your support is changing cancer care!
