The Cancer Care Foundation is proud to present the 23rd Annual Newfoundland and Labrador Breast Cancer Conference. This conference (formerly referred to as the Retreat), will be held from November 11-13, 2022, at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s, NL.

The conference will be a weekend filled with information, inspiration and connection with other breast cancer patients/survivors. Education sessions will be offered on topics such as: breast reconstruction, mental health during/after cancer, finances after cancer, Lymphedema and the importance of self care during stressful times.

Conference participants will be in the presence of others who truly understand how life changes after you receive a breast cancer diagnosis.

“Two weeks before my 34th birthday, my life changed from being normal to being on a fearful roller coaster ride. I felt lost in the new world I was living in. Then, I attended my first breast conference retreat and, for the first time since being diagnosed, I felt normal – I no longer felt alone.”

Jennifer Stuckless – Breast cancer survivor from Lewisporte, NL

Through extensive fundraising and community support, the NL Breast Cancer Conference is able to offer participants a full weekend of education, connection and support at a greatly reduced rate of $275 per person. This includes the full educational program with first class speakers in a variety of relevant topics for breast cancer patients/survivors, two nights of accommodations (shared) at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s and meals.

Please note:

Transportation to the conference will be at the expense of participants. For those out of the St. John’s area, consider carpooling with other participants, and conducting smaller fundraisers in your area to cover transportation costs.
